passed away last Thursday, the Regional Councillor Alessia Ballini . He was only a year younger than me, just 41 years. His political commitment was profound: a step in FGCI, two terms as mayor of San Piero a Sieve, then regional and provincial councilor. We did not know before embarking on the adventure in the region, but the agreement was immediate and without introductions. It was an extraordinary woman, and wanted politics with a capital P. We will miss .
